Curtiss-Wright Receives EASA Part 21 Certification for its Dublin, Ireland Facility’s Flight Test Instrumentation Technology
As an EASA Part 21 Subpart G approved organization Curtiss-Wright’s Dublin facility is now able to ship products for use on in-service aircraft

PARIS AIR SHOW, PARIS-LE BOURGET, FRANCE – JUNE 19, 2023 – Curtiss-Wright’s Defense Solutions division, a proven leading supplier of rugged avionics solutions, today announced that its Dublin, Ireland facility has been certified by EASA as a Part 21 production organization.  The certification is the first received by the Dublin facility allowing shipment of its aerospace instrumentation products for use on in-service aircraft. The first Curtiss-Wright product to be shipped under the Part 21 certification will be a digital flight data acquisition unit (DAU) for use by a major commercial aircraft manufacturer.

This milestone enables Curtiss-Wright’s Dublin facility to further expand its aviation market business beyond flight test instrumentation (FTI), for which it is a recognized industry leader for commercial, military and space platforms world-wide, and pursue more opportunities for operational equipment on commercial in-service aircraft. EASA certification is recognized by flight authorities worldwide, including the FAA and Transport Canada, enabling Curtiss-Wright’s Dublin facility to support in-service commercial aircraft around the globe with its best-in-class technology.
