TCG HUNTR TDL Hub and Network Translator

Curtiss-Wright’s TCG HUNTR tactical data link (TDL) Hub and Network Translator is an intelligent translation gateway for multiple TDLs. It includes patent-pending forwarding technology and is the only TDL gateway on the market that addresses all of the technical challenges and usability issues that have plagued legacy TDL gateways.

TCG HUNTR supports automatic routing, forwarding, and translation of Link 16 J-Series, VMF K-Series, Cursor on Target, and CESMO messages. TCG HUNTR also automates processing and translation of multiple, simultaneous Digitally-Aided Close Air Support (DACAS) missions between ground JTAC kits equipped with VMF or CoT radios and air/land/sea Link 16 assets. 

TCG HUNTR automatically converts VMF 9-lines into multiple Link 16 messages and automatically updates and maintains Link 16 PPLI and surveillance tracks and command and control (C2) messages. With push-button start up and fully automated TDL, including radio configuration setting management, TCG HUNTR is fully operational within seconds with no expert input required. The clear and easy-to-understand graphical user interface hides complexity and presents pertinent mission information in a highly visible and simplified way. With support for a wide variety of link types, including Link 16, VMF, CoT, CESMO, GPS, SADL, JREAP, Serial-J, and Socket-J, TCG HUNTR provides up-to-date and accurate contextual translations of relevant link data that take bandwidth limitations into account rather than awkward and cumbersome word-by-word translations that can consume high amounts of bandwidth and result in information overload.
