PacStar Continues Strong Revenue Growth, Promoting and Hiring New Leaders to Expand Company’s Ops and Pursue Customer Opportunities
Internationally-recognized, high-performance communications technology innovator sees more growth and opportunities ahead with Department of Defense, other customers around the world

 

Portland, OR – Jan. 28, 2020 – PacStar, a leading provider of advanced communications solutions for a wide range of military, intelligence, and commercial applications, today announced that the company has added two new senior executives to support the PacStar’s strong global growth and help deliver unparalleled support and service to its rapidly growing base of customers around the world.

“It is a time of fast-paced growth and opportunities at PacStar,” said Peggy Miller, CEO, PacStar. “PacStar’s revenues have increased by more than 200 percent and our employee base has tripled during the past five years to support our growth. Currently, PacStar has 130 employees with plans to hire 30 more employees in 2020.  We’ve been very pleased with how our company is accelerating into 2020 and now we have two new leaders on the team who will help us take our operations to the next level.”

PacStar veteran Dominic Perez has been promoted to vice president, Systems and Network Engineering. In his new role, he will lead and expand a team of experienced network engineers responsible for quality assurance and product testing. More importantly, he will spearhead the growing systems engineering team that integrates best-of-breed COTS technology with PacStar hardware and IQ-Core® Software to generate innovative new PacStar integrated solutions.

During his nearly 12-year tenure at the company he has held several roles including principal systems engineer, principal quality assurance engineer, and director of Quality Assurance and Systems Engineering. Prior to joining PacStar in 2008, Perez worked in quality assurance engineering at Biamp Systems.

“Dominic brings a wealth of experience and he’s well respected in the industry by our partners and customers around the world,” said Miller. “He has led the QA and Systems Engineering team here through several years of high growth and now his expanded role will help us better serve our customers.”

PacStar also recently hired LeAnne Schrotzberger to lead the company’s marketing efforts supporting the company’s sales, engineering, manufacturing, and executive teams. Schrotzberger comes to PacStar with more than two decades of marketing experience at Cisco Systems, Plantronics, Inc., and Nereus Worldwide.

“LeAnne’s background and understanding of the mix of both high technology and marketing are a great fit for PacStar,” said Miller. “She has hit the ground running and truly has a passion for creating original engaging campaigns that resonate with our markets and business goals.”
